GENERAL PURPOSE: The position is responsible for supporting the Finance Department by overseeing payroll processing and ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of employee compensation data across systems. Additionally, supporting some administrative functions of the Finance Department such as weekly deposits at office and other office administrative functions as assigned.

Payroll and Benefits
- Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payrolls in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Responsibilities include managing staff timekeeping and processing employee leave and related records (vacation, sick, FMLA, etc.)
- Handling inquires from employees on payroll questions and timesheet questions.
- Integrate payroll data into accounting system on a timely basis.
- Administer voluntary deductions, 403b plan contributions and disbursements.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of other reports.
General Finance Support
- Support internal staff communications and coordinate logistics for payroll training as needed, including scheduling, tracking participation, and distributing materials.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Finance Team as needed, and responding to employee inquiries timely with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Formal Training
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in payroll and administrative support roles
- Experience in nonprofit or seasonal workforce settings a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Proficient with time keeping software and payroll software
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel one to two days a week to office in Denver
- Active Driver's License with 5 years of driving experience
- Must be 21 years or older

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
- Work may be performed remotely, in-office, or hybrid, depending on organizational needs.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to assist during onboarding camp season.
